Early Stage Researcher (Ph.D. Student) in Quantitative Immunology (x2)

Applications are invited for two, three-year, generously salaried (39,983 Euro per annum), Ph.D. positions developing mathematical methodologies to study  the immune system on the European Union Marie Curie Initial Training Network on Quantitative T Cell immunology (QUANTI).

The primary restrictions on candidature are: (1) to ensure the international character of the ITN project, applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Ireland for more than 12 months in the last three years immediately prior to the date of selection; (2) candidates must not yet have been awarded the doctorate degree and must be in the first 4 years (full-time equivalent) of their research career; (3) ave a first class or higher second class degree (or equivalent) in a numerate discipline such as mathematics / statistics / computer science / engineering.

Quantitative T cell Immunology EU ITN Meeting

The inaugural meeting for the FP7-PEOPLE-2012-ITN (Initial Training Network) project QUANTI (Quantitative T cell Immunology) will take place at the Hamilton Institute on the 29th & 30th of August 2013. The meeting will open at 11am on Thursday the 29th and close at 5pm on the 30th, with all partners expected to be represented.
