About
me
|
I'm originally from Berlin, Germany. After receiving my "Abitur" from a small school in the southwest, I decided to get an education in economics with BMW in Berlin. I graduated in 1993 with an degree as "Industriekaufmann". A lack of academic challenges and the prospect of student life made me start a course in Electrical Engineering at the TU Berlin. I specialised on control theory, medical signal processing and fault tolerant real-time systems.

Current
position Research interests My current research interests lie mainly in the area of stability criteria for switched linear systems. In particular, I am interested finding stability conditions that are easily applicable and provide insight for the design of stable controllers. My recent work has focused on eigenvalue criteria and frequency-domain analysis using common quadratic and common piecewise linear Lyapunov functions.
