Mohammad

Mohammad Karzand obtained the Electrical Engineering Degree with a major in Telecommunications at the University of Tehran in 2005. Then, he received his M.Sc. (2007) and Ph.D. (2013) in Information Processing Group from the School of Computer and Communication Sciences in Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). Since 2013, he has been working as a senior research fellow at the Hamilton Institute (NUIM) and Bell Labs - Alcatel Lucent in topics related to Wireless Networks, Multiple Radio Technology Convergance and delay in Communication Networks. He is an applied mathematician whose main research interests are in the application of probability, statistics, information theory and algorithms to computer and communication sciences.
